The Children's Bookshop is located near the border of England and Wales in Hay-On-Wye, in the county of Herefordshire. As our name implies, we sell only children's books. With a stock in excess of twenty thousand books we cater both for children and for collectors, teachers and researchers.

Our opening hours are 9:30 to 5:30, seven days a week.

Our on-line catalogue allows you to browse through the many thousands of books which we have in stock. It is updated daily and provides a convenient and secure way of ordering from us at any time.

We provide a copy of our catalogue as a text file to download and browse off-line if you wish, and there is also a set of quick reference lists of all of the titles, authors, publishers and illustrators currently in our catalogue for you to browse. The most recent additions to the catalogue are listed here if you want a quick overview of what's new in the shop and there is a sample selection of books here.
